Foaming agent is fully biodegradable protein-based foam concentrated that forms stable bubbles and provides necessary porosity to the foam concrete. The bubbles formed are strong enough to last until the concrete is set at required density. 40-50gms per Ltr – Foam Density. Foaming agent is easily in the market.

Procedure for Making Blocks

  • It is produced by initially making slurry of Cement, Fly-Ash & Water, which is further mixed with the addition of foam in per m3.
  • The Concrete is pumped into assembled mould of blocks. The foam imparts to this slurry due to of foam bubbles enabling it to easily flow into all corners and compact by itself in the moulds/forms without requiring any kind of vibration or compaction.
  • Mould releasing oil like Reebol (Fosroc) need to be applied. By adding Hardening chemical, we can reduce de-moulding time marginally. Also, it depends on the weather condition.
  • Good Curing gives strength and dimensional stability to Blocks. Blocks are cured either by Water Curing or Steam Curing procedure.
  • Pumping of the CLC discharge from the plant to the mould can be done separately by foam concrete pump (Screw Pump). However density may affect up to 10 to 15%
  • In water curing procedure 12 to 14 days require or in Steam curing procedure 12 hours require
